For mortice knobs - Where possible we recommend a minimum latch / lock, depth of 102mm (4") To clear your knuckles away from hitting the stop on the door frame, when closing the door

This door knob is heavy and unsprung and requires a PVD Brass double sprung Latch

For any internal doors that your using mortice knobs on that lock with a key we recommend the Union horizontal sash (key) lock

For bathroom doors with mortice knobs where your using the turn and release system we recommend the Union horizontal bathroom lock 127mm (5")
